Hi, I’m Ben. I’m 38 and live between Tuscany and Germany’s Black Forest with my partner, Lucas, and our little dog, Nuno.

I grew up in the picturesque Black Forest, surrounded by art and nature. I’ve always been curious about the world — drawn to travel, different cultures, and the stories hidden in unfamiliar places and objects. I’m fascinated by antiques, art, design, ceramics, food and fashion — especially quirky shoes.

My background in engineering taught me to value structure, precision and detail, while art and nature shaped my creative side. Photography is where these two worlds meet.

I work between observation and atmosphere, focusing on fleeting moments in urban environments — people, gestures, light and the subtle tension of everyday life. Moving between cities, I approach unfamiliar places with the same attention I give to my own surroundings. Street and travel merge into a continuous exploration of presence and impermanence.

Working with both digital and 35mm film, I’m drawn to texture, grain and the quiet unpredictability of the medium.
